In the spirit of connection – connecting students and alumni for HG meetings – here are our four favorite spots for HG meetings near campus. We might be a bit biased, but it’s no coincidence that all are Hoya owned.
Have you scheduled a meeting at any of the places below?
4. Chef Geoff’s
While a full lunch or dinner is not typical for a meeting, we can’t leave one of our favorite Hoyas off this list! Hoya Gateway bacon lovers everywhere should head here.
The Wisconsin Ave. location has plenty of seating and is a great casual spot for an informational interview over lunch or dinner. We visit the Sweetgreen on M Street at least once a week!
2. Luke’s Lobster
When Luke’s opened in Georgetown, the native New Englander on our staff declared the clam chowder “legit”, and that’s saying something. We love Luke’s for their delicious food and simple decor. This is a fantastic spot for a lunch meeting. Three words: lobster grilled cheese.
Possibly the easiest to get to from campus, Saxbys is an obvious top spot on this list. Talk about everything from law to non-profit over a latte any time of day, or wake up bright and early for a pre-class breakfast meeting.
